Icom RS BA 1 Remote Control Software.rar Downloading remote control software for the Icom RS-BA1 to use with your computer and/or access other public and private radio networks is a convenient and simple way to manage your radio without having to bother with all the extra paraphernalia that comes along with using a traditional mobile radio. The following article offers all the information you need on how to download it, how to set up your radio, and what you can do once it's working for you. The Icom RS-BA1 is a Radio Base Station that permits the control of one or more TN31/TN32 series mobiles. It gathers information from the mobile on its location, on calls made and on the current status of the battery. The RS-BA1 is also designed so that you can listen to your mobile on your computer using Total Remote Control. Total Remote Control is an application that runs on the Windows operating system and allows control of one or more Icom RS-BA1s. When you install it, Total Remote Control will create a shortcut on your Desktop. In order to use it, just double-click on the shortcut as you would do with any Windows application. The software will load and display a list of all available radios. Click on "RS-BA1". The software now displays the current status of all RS-BA1s connected to your computer. If for some reason, one or more RS-BA1s is not functioning properly, the software will warn you what needs to be done in order for control to be regained. A number of functions can be performed via the software. The main screen is divided into 3 main sections. To the right from the picture above you will find a list of your RS-BA1s, as well as a "Query" button. In case you don't see all your RS-BA1s, simply click on "Query" to see which devices are currently registered to your computer. Next to it is an information bar that shows you data such as the model and serial number of each device, as well as its operating status and IP address (see picture below). Next to this bar there is a series of buttons that allow you to navigate through the RS-BA1's menus. The Menu button will take you to the Icom RS-BA1's main menu. The Quick Set button takes you to the quick set menu, while the Frequency/Power/Time Pools button allows you to program your RS-BA1. The picture above shows you what each of these buttons does. The left column shows the different tabs that are available in each section that will appear depending on what functions are available in each menu. For example, if you click on "Frequency" , the software will display the frequency programming screen for that RS-BA1. As you can see, it's very straightforward and user-friendly. cfa1e77820
